I'm going over some old code that someone else wrote
Code: 
DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE tblAssetRecon_Exceptions SET LegalEntity = 0 WHERE LegalEntity Is Null;", -1

What does the -1 do?

Its a boolean True value for the UseTransaction named parameter.
BTW, no F1 key on your keyboard ?
