Do I already have what I need?

Am very new to the Netware world and have a very simple question. We have netware 6.0, do I already have the software I need to provide users a public web portal to their email and files? I have read some about ifolder but I would like to have a user authenticated and then presented with a page which would allow them view email as well as network drives.

You should have everything you need to implement the web portal as part of the netware 6 installation cd. I believe I Manager, Remote Manager, iPrint are included and you can also use either the Netware Web Server or Netscape Web server which come with netware 6, or you may also opt to install Apache web sesrver for Netware.

NetStorage

This will provide user with links similar to drive mappings they are familure with when they are on the local network.

NetWare WebAccess

This will allow you to create a web page using Novell's Portal Services. This is only a mini version with limited capabilities, and it will work for your stated needs. You can find details on the gadgets provided in the link. One of the gadgets included is for NetStorage.

Is there a way I could tell if Netstorage and Webaccess are even installed on the server? I was not part of the original installation and no one remembers what was installed initially. Do I look for specific NLMs?
