Do Exchange Tasks only show on Mail Servers

I successfully installed Exchange 2003 on a DC at home. I have another DC that is just a DC. When I create a user on the DC with Exchange on it, I have the option of enabling a mailbox and Exchange tasks. On the other DC there is no option either when creating a new user or just trying to do an Exchange Task on a user. I did do both forestprep and domain prep once and even ran domainprep a second time on the DC that does not have Exchange.


Is something wrong with my DC or is this the way it is supposed to be.

You need to install the exchange tools off the exchange CD onto the DC in order to manage exchange from it. If not you will need to go to the EX server and set-up the mailbox from there.
