I am having issues with my network at work. We have two vlans, a .104 and a .108. Both were working flawlessly until recently. I cannot connect any PC to the domain that is connected up to the .108 subnet. Any current users on the .108 are working fine, but if I readd a user or a new user, it does not work.

I am receiving error 0x0000267C DNS_ERROR_NO_DNS_SERVERS. I tried ipconfig /all and it shows is:

Windows IP Configuration

I have tried /release and /renew, but to no avail. I tried nslookup and I get:

***Default servers are not available
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 127.0.0.1

Dns is provided by our ISP and I tried deleting and recreating the DHCP scope, but still nothing.

Any help would be appreciated!

What do you use for internal DNS? How did you set up DNS in your DHCP scope?

We have DNS running I believe from our Sprint T1 provider. I am the new administrator at this location and I have looked all over and can't find the dns server.

Scope was setup just as it was before. going from 108 to 109 subnet and automatically, it assigned global scopes for the dns servers which are correct and for the router.
