DNS time out

I have 2 internal dns servers no forwarders are setup
when ever i do nslookup for a domain out of 2 times one time its timeouts, when i went to the website it gives me a dns error , but from the same machine if i ping that website it replies back ,

i dont understand whats problem isplease help

Hi Sridar,

try and increase the timeout length with the set command, for instance,set timeout=10, increases the timeout period to 10 seconds, the default is 2 seconds
