Hi everyone, I have 2 sites: Network "0" and Network "1", they in 2 different locations but they are linked VIA VPN using 2 Sonicwall Firewalls. Clients from Network 0 can ping clients at Network 1 and viceversa (using IP address ONLY).

Network 0 has 2 2003 DC's. Network 1 has a brand new 2008 Windows server. I ran DC Promo on the new server in Network 1 and now that server is an additional DC for the Domain (but located in Network 1)....however DNS is obviously not working right on that new server, there are notForward Lookup Zones which should have been automatically replicated from the DC's in Network 0. DNS Servers in Network 0 are AD Integrated so the new server in Network 1 should reflect that but...it is blank.

Also if I try to open AD Users and Computer in that new Win 2K8 server I do not see the users or anything at all, again because it seems data does not replicate from the servers at Network 0....please help, out network is down because of this.

The Win2K8 server Ip is static and the DNS entries point to itself first and then to the DNS servers in Network 0

you did not prepare your AD properly for Windows 2008 Domain Controllers.
Look for a checklist noting all the things that must be prepped BEFORE dcpromo a 2008 Server. Your domain needs to be upgraded. Or a Forest Prep must be done from the 2008 CD
