Is it possible to have more than one AD integrated Forward look up zone for DNS.
The environment has 4 sites over a WAN each on a diff subnet but part of the same AD domain. I want to reduce DNS queries so a 2ndary zone is not really good. So i was looking at having four primary AD integrated Zones for each site.

if it's AD integrated then it's replicating to each one
why not just have one that is rpelicated
it would be smaller

lookups would be the same

So just have DNS installed and point each server to have its primary dns on another server?

one zone - ad integrated
one server at each site running dns
the dns is handled by AD replication

point each server to iteself as it's primary dns and another as it's secondary

four primary AD integrated Zones"

You make a mistake there you cant have a zone for each site cause they are all in the same domain.

The zone's are either ad intergrated or primary and secondary.
