Hi!

I've got a few 2003 servers set up on my local LAN. One box is my web server and another is a file server (PDC w/ AD) and also runs my DNS.

Question:

My internal domain is set up like joeblow.com. Well, I also have a web site which is joeblow.com and it's now hosted on my other 2003 box. The outside world can get to joeblow.com no problem - my name servers are set up correctly in this regard. However, my internal LAN machines can't get to joeblow.com because internal DNS says joeblow.com is my PDC!

This was probably just stupid naming on my part but is there any way I can get my internal machines to forward to my web server when they type in joeblow.com? Thanks!

I tried that already but no go because the DNS / PDC server grabs the name before it sends it anywhere. It realizes that it in itself is joeblow.com so no need to send the request out!
