Hello all,

I have 2 seperate domains. Eg mydomain.com and theirdomain.com. I have setup a trust each way between the two, but now I need to configure the dns on each dns server in each domain so they can find each other. How do I do this in DNS? ie on the DNS server for mydomain.com do I add a new zone or delegation or what?

I found if I configured my mydomain.com DNS server as a root server, under .com. I could add theirdomain.com and the name server for theirdomain.com but then the rest of DNS didn't work, so I don't think this is the right configuration is it?

I can't find any specific doc from microsft on how to do it.

Cheers Simon.

How about setup each dns server as a secondary zone server of the other one? (Add new secondary zone on each server in DNS configuration snap in)
By doing this, you can access all the resources from either one of the two DNS servers.
