I get this "Registration of the DNS record 'DOMAIN.com. 600 IN A 192.168.0.199' failed with the following error:
DNS server unable to interpret format." in the Event Log.

I thought I had all the correct IP's in the right places but apparently not. Win2K, Cable Modem. I can ping " but NSLOOKUP can't resolve the server with the addresses given.

My domain is with register.com, cable is with comcast and this is the only server.

What IP address is your server pointing to for Primary/Secondary DNS resolution in the properties of it's NIC?

I got them from my Router, I believe they are for my ISP, 68.62.162.0 and 68.62.162.115. I guess I could make sure and connect to my ISP directly... Will try that.

Well, that error is your server telling you that it's unable to dynamically update your ISP's nameserver with it's own domain records, which is something it will never be able to do. To resolve, you should be pointing your server's NIC DNS properties at itself, then using Forwarding to resolve internet based queries. Of course, I'm working under the assumption that you have DNS set up properly on your 2K server.
