DNS Server could not connect to DNS Server at "WHATEVER IP"

Event log keeps filling up with these yet we are able to browse the Internet. This is the secondary DNS server (NT SP6a).

Any ideas???

The first thing I would do is to check the DNS IP Addresses in your Networking, TCP/IP properties.

There is usually two IP Addresses (primary and secondary) which are entered to point to your ISP's DNS (by the sound of things in your case anyway). Make sure these are correct (maybe call your ISP and varify the addresses).

If they are ok, reinstall your Service Pack 6a and post service pack update.

If all that fails, goto ..

There are heaps of DNS TIDs there. New Zealand, a great place to visit.

Thanks. I will look into that article when I get some time.

Basically I have internal DNS running with forwarders setup in the Primary DNS Server.
