This is the situation. We have two companies that are linked. We both use the 10. network. They have a DNS and they are called (example) "xyz.com". We just recently added our own DNS and stoped using their's. Our dns suffix is (example) "abc.com". How do I set this up to go to their DNS for there servers and our DNS for our servers.

I am confused with this situation.

I have abc.com as our forward lookup zone and for our reverse I have 10.in-addr.arpa

How can I set this up to look to xyz.com for there servers?

At the moment I have just been making a host record for there servers but this can get very manual and I know there has to be a better way.

Thanks for your help in advance.

By the way this is a windows 2000 DNS that is not using Active Directory.

also we use the 10.128, 10.130 - 10.135 addresses and the other companies use the others.
