I need to stop my windows 2000 advanced server from dialing the isdn router every 5-10 mins it seems to be trying to resolve the local machine addresses when they start up in the morning and continues to dial up during the day for what ever reason, is there a way to stop it my phone bills are going through the roof!.
I have set the dns server to use forwarders as Microsoft advise and all Pcs on my network are using the server to resolve. They are all XP pro operating system. The server needs to use the isdn line for sending and receiving mail through a third party program and we use a d-link isdn router for internet (adsl not in my area yet).
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?
