I have my DNS server working properly - finally - but now I wonder about somthing...
When I had the registrar hosting the Name Servers, it was setup so that any traffic for the domain name was sent to my web server...no matter what the subdomain was - if any.
Now when I'm hosting it through my DNS server, the main domain name (without anything else in front of it) will hit my web server...or if I add another host in the DNS records, then it will hit it using that.
I used to be able to use IIS to control the subdomains, but now it won't forward to the IIS server unless the host name is recorded in the DNS server.
Does anyone know if there is some type of "wild card" (since I can't use the asterik '*') for host names that will forward ALL web traffic to my web server where I can then handle the subdomains in IIS itself? -Ovatvvon :-Q
