I have recently installed an SBS-2000 server. DNS & WINS were OK until we enabled RAS & the 1st user dialed in. After this DNS & WINS enquiries were being sent to the IP address used by the dial-in client. I disabled RAS and cleared out the unwanted records & all is well. I will need to re-enable RAS soon. The Knowledgebase gives a fix which involves editing the registry and obtaining a patch from Microsoft via a support incident. Isn't there an easier way?
