DNS Advice

I hope someone can advice on this. I am setting up an NDS tree with 200 servers (all netware 6.5) and am unsure how to setup DNS. DNS will be important as we will be using Zen for servers.
Each site will have one server, with 3 servers at a central location acting as distributors and site management servers
Any recommendations on how DNS should be set up?
Do I have 1 domain and a couple of hunderd seconday domains??

Should have said, this will be an entirely private DNS setup.

one domain as your promary dns then say 2 secondaries
depends on how many pc's at each site etc but a secondary on everyone is overkill and admin nightmare

i would look at the slp as this is more or equally important - you want a couple of slpda's as well

all this depends on speed of links etc

So if I had my primary domain mydomain.com I would then have 1.mydomain.com and 2.mydomain.com. Would each site require a DNS server that is authoratitive of one of the secondary zones??

Sorry if I don't quite understand, I've been using Netware for years but never had to do DNS on this scale before.

Another thing you probably don't want to have to manage is assigning different DNS servers to workstations at different locations. I would agree, only have 2-3 total. You don't want to spend all of your time on DNS.. Once you set it up, you should be pretty much done with it and never have to touch it again except maybe to add future servers or whatever.
