DND and User Button Programming

Hello ...

I have a the following case,

1. Extn. No. 400 (Manager), set to DND, on the DND list programmed specific people to call him.
2. When No Answer Timeout reach on that Extn. (400), the call forwarded to her secertary.
3. on the specific user on the DND list we programmed a User Button (400) to directly ring Manager.
4. because Extn. 400 have a DND, the user must press a button then select to reach a user. ( in this case after no aswer timout the
user forwarded to secertary)
5. the customer complains that he want a user to press a buttons without select
6. found another buttons named Direct Dial by Extn Number, and this type of buttons dial direct without select needed, but now this
type of buttons override any forwarded rules.

Is there a way to programm a buttons that direct ring to the user and forwarded to her secertary if he no answer.

Through adjusting the user button no, since it is also presenting them with other options (MESSAGE, VOICEMAIL, CALLBACK) so as to not annoy their manager who they now know set themself to DND.

If they don't really care about the status feedback coming from the User button (and the manager's request implies that) then replace the User button with a simple Abbreviated Dial button set to the Manager's extension number.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
