I am getting a DMI start error on Win 95 startup. Error reads: Aborting DMI start - Registry key can't gbe located.
Why is this ocurrring, and how can I get rid of this? Thanks for any help.

The PC works absolutely fine, it's just that at startup, this window appears. I just click the "OK" button, and it disappears with no after effects. Not a performance issue; just a nuisance.

you must be missing a file in your registry. I don't know for sure. You might use It's a really good search engine. Hope you find something!

wmchale,

Hi, what is the pc trying to start each time you reboot. Check your startup menu.

If there is a file there that you no longer use, you can manually remove each instance if it from the registry.

But back it up before you delete anything from the registry... Good luck..!

Paul.
