I used Dlookup to populate a value in query1 and then use this looked up value as part of my where statement in query2. This seems to take a long time as I think that query2 runs query 1 for every record separately.

Does anyone know how I can make query1 become a snapshot so that query2 can use the calculated fields in query 1 without having to rerun it for every record? I tried using sub SELECT queries with the same result.

I know that I can use a make table query to turn the query1 into a table and use that in query2, but it takes a fair amount of time to make a table vs running a query.

Can anyone help here??
