DLLs Disappearing

Platform : Windows 2000 Pro Desktop

I have some users that added addtional software to thier PC for scanning documents (Ecopy). The problem is that the program works fine for a couple of days and then all the sudden it fails due to missing DLLs. The missing DLLs are specific to the Ecopy software.

There are not part of Windows 2000. Any ideas?
