I would like to export clips that I did record and edit in premiere 6.5 as divX 5 movies, but I don't know how! I can't find the divX codec in premiere. Another possibility should be to export as an uncompressed avi file and to do the divX conversion with Virtual Dub, but Virtual dub doesn't open the exported avi clips. Here's my question: DOES ANYONE KNOW THE BEST WAY OF MAKING DIVX CLIPS FROM PREMIERE DV MATERIAL?

Help would be great!

Mike

Divx is a third party encoder. You need to download and install it.

Also, using premiere to export as DIVX is very iffy. Use a third party program to turn your AVI file into a DIVX file.

I got divX 5 installed of course! - But in the meantime I've found out how to do it anyways, but the quality is pretty bad. In what Format do I have to export it from premiere to make Virtual Dub or DVDx understand it? With those Progs the quality is always great. If I chose avi, Virtual Dub doesn't import it.

Any idea?
