I am not sure if I have to use a module/macro to do the following, I was hoping someone would know some useful code to do this:

Table: InvalidUPC

Contains fields, UPC, AlternateUPC, VendorNum, etc.

I need to sort these records by VendorNum and append each vendors information into seperate excel sheets/or indiviudale tables within access. This data is live and therefore will change on a daily basis, I need a way for these excel sheets to be produced within specifying the vendor numbers. (There are approximately 200,000 vendors in my DB, and within this file each day only 6 or 7 show up.)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Krissy

If you add an insert date field to your table, you could check only the new records against your existing list. You would still have to compare those new records to your existing list of 200,000 to find the new ones, but assuming you have the VendorNum field indexed, this should happen very quickly.

Hi Krissy,
I am having difficulty following what you want to do....
Do you want to enter records into a new table of vendors that do something on that day??

InvalidUPC - Does it have a primary Key?

Do you want to report on the Vendor entries in the table??

the InvalidUPC table does not have a Primary Key. I could make the INVUPC field the primary key if it would help to grab the records for the vendors.
