Dist List does not send to everyone

We have a distribution list that sends to everyone in the company , I have noticed that when this is used, not everyone gets the email, for example my boss gets the mail but I don't or any other members of the same team. I have checked that we are in the same teams and have the same mail set up. We are running Exchange 2003 Enterprise.

any ideas
