Displaying full month name? 1

Hey Folks:

echo date(&quot;M Y&quot;,$qdata->displaydate).&quot;<br><br>&quot;;

and it displays &quot;Sep 2003&quot;

When I do:
echo date(&quot;m Y&quot;,$qdata->displaydate).&quot;<br><br>&quot;;
I get:
09 2003

How do I get September 2003??

Probably simple.....but I'm new to this
