Hey, i have an html flash file, and i was wondering how to display it in forums and such, because the flash tags only work with .swf, any ideas?

I don't think there is such a thing as "html flash file'. Flash publishes an html file which is just a link to your .swf file. If you want your Flash work to be seen online you have to upload you published .swf and .html files.

Oh the reason im doing htis is so i can have a transparent background.

Ok ill try and explain this a little better, ummm i want my swf flash file to have a transparent background, so i published it to be embeded in html. But now the flash file won't work with bbcode, or forum html replacements, and i was wondering if there is anyway that i can get the movie to work, and have a transparent background.

I think the short answer is that it depends on the capabilities of the BBCode or HTML replacement of the site you are posting on, and has little or nothing to do with Flash itself. If the bbcode allows you to set transparency to true you are set, if not to bad.

Hope it helps.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

Moreover, most BBSs won't allow people to post flash content, because it slows page load down, requires a plugin (that their site might not normally require) and a flash animation in signatures and posts would be so VERY VERY annoying (all the animated giffs in some forums are bad enough).
