I got a IBM Thinkpad T20 om wich I have installet Win XP, but I can't get the dispay to work properly.
It is a S3 Graphics Savage/IX 1014 adapter.
The problem is that I only can use 256 colours.
(I can set the resolution to anything I want!)
I have tried to upgrade the BIOS and tested several different drivers, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

You need to update your video driver. It is listed in the ibm support site. You may also need to update the bios. The IBM website also has a utility to check your current bios. I have a t20 and have XP Pro running on it. XP requires you to stop the drive/floppy before you unplug it.
