DEF Gs3i v9. I have 6 users assigned to a DDC hunt group. That hunt can be dialed directly or via an 800 w/DNIS. The Vector allows to either speak to one of the persons in the hunt or goto a voice mail box at ext. 681. Periodically, the users will see "INFO: 681" appear on the display.

No harm is being done, but I'm just curious as to why/how this happens.

TIA

The INFO: 681 indicates that the PBX has collected the digits 681, from a vector. From the description you provided above it looks like the caller dialed the 800 number, press 681(or whatever the vector asked for 1, 2 ?) to transfer to voice mail. Once in voice mail they pressed 0 to transfer out of Audix and got sent back to the DDC group or manually did a *t{extension} to go to a specific station. The INFO digits collected on the original vector step will say with the call through out the duration of the call, unless you recollect them at some other point in another vector again.

Hope this helps

Chris

Thanks. That makes sense. Would the INFO: 681 appear on all stations in the hunt?

Yes, any station that answered the call would see the INFO: 681 on their display. The INFO digits will stay with the call through out the duration of the call until it is terminated.
