Hi,
I am trying to store images in a DBF file and then show them on a detail line of Crystal report.

I am using VFP 8 & Crystal Report Dev. 9

I take these steps:
Select MyFile
Appe General gPict from c:\MyPict.jpg
Then in crystal report I place this field "gPict" on the crystal report detail line with some other fields.
All other fields do display but the picture does not.!

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
Shahab

If the pic is at C:\fill-in-the-blank then by definition it is not in the .dbf file. What I think you are saying is that the path and file name where the pic is located are in the .dbf file.

If this is the case, then you need to upgrade to crystal XI, you cannot do this with any version prior to XI.

Thank you for your response.

I am actually trying to load the picture into the General field in my DBF file before trying to show it on the Report.

Thanks.

If the picture is in the .dbf. then just drag it onto the report canvas.

I think the problem I have is that for some reason I am not getting the picture into the gPict field of the DBF File.

I am now trying to upgrade to CR Ver. XI and try that version.

Thanks for your response.
