I've been given a set of 300 ttf files, all handwriting fonts! I don't particularly want to install 300 fonts, and also am too lazy to double click on 300 files to see what they look like. (I need to select 10 decent ones ).

What I would like to do is to write a little programme to display some text in each font in turn. I can do this if I know the font name, but not the ttf file name. For instance, the first one is ABIGH___.ttf and the font name is Abigailshand.

Anyone know how to do this? Peter Meachem

Try selectin all of the fonts and then press the {Enter] Key. The Font display program will open one at a time untill you've seen all of them.

Well yes, but then I'd get 300 windows open. Which is rather a lot. I just want to print a line in each font. Peter Meachem
