display DID number instead of the main line number

Hi,

I have a main line x6000. Under this main line, I have an extension x6097 which is a DID. When I make a call from this DID x6097, at the called party, the displayed number is our main line x6000, not the DID number x6097. Is there any way I can confgure PBX (Meridian) so that the DID number x6097 is displayed at the called party?

yes with a clid entry, make 6097 key 0, then enter key 1 scr 6000 d and that will show the clid of line 0..here's my clid entry block, it has a did entry (5) plus a few dept numbers.

This assumes you have PRI service into your PBX. If not, all outbound CLID will show the primary or lead number in a DID block.
