diskless linux firewall 5

I'm interested in toying with a diskless (no hard drive)firewall. I'd really like some neat links to get me started from all you good linux folks out there Thanks for any help.

You could also take a look at LEAF

Tends to be fairly upto date and is based on the now defunct Linux Router Project.
