disk to disk than to tape backup 1

I am pondering a new backup server. I would do full disk to disk backups to the server and then back this up to tape. Does anyone know of any problems with this type of scheme? Thanks.

Lander215 Thanks. Do you use veritas to backup exchange individual mailboxes in this scenerio?

I'd do it the opposite way round and backup to tape then auto restore from tape to disk - this takes slightly longer but fully tests your DR procedures.

But if it works for Lander, that's about as good an endorsement as you'll get around here!
