Hi,

Could any one please advise me on how to discover devices on the network & have it populate my 2d map. I want to discover my Decservers TL-90's & specific routers, however I am unsure as to the correct syntax... to discover these devices

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

Hi

The easiest way to do the discorvery for only those devices that you want is:

Start a command prompt
write:

dscvrbe -7 ipaddress/name -R name of your repository -V 9

where ipaddress/name, is the ipaddress or name of the devices you want to discover, -R is the name of your repository you want to populate with the new device and the -V 9 is the level of information you want to get in the discovery window.

I hope this will work for you

Regards Marcus Ehrnell
