We have a new e-mail server running Exchange 2000 and it does very well on the LAN. The problem is that when we dial in and use offline synchronization it takes forever to sync up. Sometimes the "saving synchronization log" will show indefinately and you will have to ctrl + alt + del to get out. I have tweaked the registry for the RPC bindings on the clients but this does not fix these issues. Also, we use Cisco VPN for remote access.
