Hi all,

I am installing option 11C with loop start trunks. When i recieve a call and after the far end disconnect, the trunk port isn't release.
I test in the demac with a buttset and multimeter and i see that when the far ende disconnect, the loop is drop momentarily twice and after give me announce and reproduce busy tone.

Can you help me wiht this thread please.

I have a XUT and DXUT card installed into the system

It don't like loop start you need to change to ground start trunks.

A mi también me ha pasado lo mismo.

La solución que se le dio fue cambiar la tarjeta XUT or DXUT por una tarjeta XFCOT. Sin embargo, aun no encuentro la solución cuando se utilizan XUT o DXUT.

SALUDOS.

Change the order to Ground Start, works better with the Meridian.

In any case, until you get that done check to make sure your trunk programming is for loop start. Your described symptom makes me believe your switch trunks are programmed for graound start and you are connected to loop start trunks from the CO.

janchundia,
When you programmed your COT route in LD16 did you set CNTL=YES then NEDC=ETH and FEDC=ETH? These settings will allow the switch to disconnect if either end hangs up.

...good luck.

You will have troubles down the line from trunks going to dis,to voice mail troubles,, change then to ground start

if your staying with loop, modifiy your timers to match the results of your meter. and change the class ti disallow hook flash. your switch is seeing the remote disconect as a flash more then likely..

I had the problem when install one system in the New York Area in march 2004. I suggest that my client change to ground start for fix this problem.
Actually the client have ground start in your trunks.

Thanks.

ground start have been pbx standard forever. at one time "glare" was the problem. dial 9 and answer an incoming call. that's less of a problem now and with timers correct, loop will work. ground start cost the same per month. having them changed may incure a service charge.
