Hi Folks

I have to do up Disaster Recovery plans for a bunch of servers including a few web servers running IIS. Basically the scenario is you've a full backup and a server which almost certainly have completely different hardware. In that situation is the easiest solution to install NT, IIS and SPs etc. from scratch and then recover the IIS files from tape? Is there just certain directories I'd need to restore and also any registery keys?
As you can no doubt tell I've limited experience with IIS.

Anybody got any experience of recovery IIS and web servers in general? any big pitalls I should look out for? All info gratefully received.

Thanks a lot,

Caimh
