Dear all :
I always got a error message from Backup Exec 9.1 as following :

Backup - \\ServerMAIL\C: Error saving machine specific Intelligent Disaster Recovery information to path C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\.
Error: 2
The system cannot find the file specified.

In fact, I have prepared the intelligent Disaster Recovery wizard and both file with extension ISO and DR can be found under such location. Please advise

got any response yet? I got the same problem here

On your Backup Server goto help - about backup exec - find the version and revision...Example 9.1 4691

On ServerMail find the version/revision for c:\program files\veritas\backup exec\rant\beremote.xe

Are they the same version?

Try renaming the \nt\idr\data directory and cycle the services. Also, have the permissions changed on the folders?

i just found out that i don't have an NT\IDR\data directory.....

what to do?
reinstall?

create the directory and goto tools-options-IDr and setup the path again. Cycle services

Or tool-serial numbers install - repair install may work as well
