Disappearing Public Folders 1

We setup public folders on Exchange server1 which inturn should replicate the hierachy to all other Exchange servers. Recently users have been informing me that they cannot see specific Public Folders on server2 which would indicate replication is not fully working. The strange thing is other users on the Exchange server2 can see and access the missing Public Folders. I cannot find anything on Microsoft's site.
Has anyone seen this before?

Whether a user can see a public folder or not in the hierachy is controlled by permissions on the folders.
