morning all!

i'm getting this message:

"Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131'
Disallowed parent path.
The Include file '../ecomm/incs/ecommcode.asp' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory.
"
i get this message from the site on a 'live' server,
but it works fine on my local machine.

is there some kind of setting in iis that allows/disallows including files from parent directories?

many thanks, marcus.

Yep, this is found in the IIS properties. You can get to it from the properties on your website. Go to the Home Directory Tab, click on the Configuration button. In the sub-window that pops up there should be an option in the second tab (App Options) to allow parent paths.
