Microsoft Article 300041 describes how to....
How to Disable Transition Effects in Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows Me.....
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Display.
3. Click Effects, clear the Use transition effects for menus and tooltips check box, click OK, and then close Control Panel.
But my Windows 98 system has no
Use transition effects for menus and tooltips check box !
Has anyone any advice - I'm trying to stop the annoying
smooth animated transition...
Can anyone help , please ?
