When specific applications launch external applications internally (like explorer) on our wyse terminals this launches a full ICA desktop session.

Is there a simple way of just totally disabling the ICA Desktop session?

You can define in the advanced connection settings in the Citrix connection config to only allow for published applications to be run that way your users will not be able to load an ICA desktop

To publish explorer, you need to copy explorer.exe to explore2.exe, and publish that.
(explorer.exe is integrated in the gui, and causes the desktop to appear)

Free citrixprinting support

If we were to configure this through the Citrix COnnection Configuration tools, is there anyway to have this apply to the entire farm rather than going to each server and edit the "CCC" per server? Is there a Group policy template or something that can simply be imported?
