Hi Pete,
I guess that puts you in a bit of a pickle ;-)
what do you get when you type
show spann
in enable mode...
Should look something like:-
Spanning tree 1 is executing the IEEE compatible Spanning Tree protocol
Bridge Identifier has priority 32768, address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
Configured hello time 2, max age 20, forward delay 15
Current root has priority 32768, address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
Root port is 45, cost of root path is 14
Topology change flag not set, detected flag not set, changes 874
Times: hold 1, topology change 35, notification 2
hello 2, max age 20, forward delay 15
Timers: hello 0, topology change 0, notification 0
Then follows a list of the ports included in spanning tree.
Do you get a similar response?
Regards,
Phil.
