disabled field appearance 1

How can I make a disabled field appear differently? Problem is, that field style gray text on gray background is almost invisible. I'd like to make it more visible (black on gray, maybe), but leave it disabled. Is there some property I could change?

Hi

Setting .Enabled = False .Locked = True makes the fiedls disabled, but it appears as for a "ordinary" control
