While in Outlook through Citrix, go to Tools, Options, then the Mail Format tab, then uncheck the box that says use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages.
Thanks for the reply but I am looking for a way to disable the option through outlook totally. I want it to be greyed out so the user cannot set it at all.
I had a consultant in the other day and found out that you can use a Group Policy administrative template called Outlk10.adm. It allows you to set a whole bunch of stuff for Outlook. I set the message format to enabled and then set it to Rich Text and took out the check for Use Word to read Rich Text messages. This greyed out both boxes in Outlook XP under Message Format for every user I applied this to. I am just getting into Group Policies but I did get this one to work.
I also failed to mention that I made these changes on each of the servers that I run Office XP on. I probably could have also applied this to the group in AD, but since I only have two servers that I run Office XP from......
