Disable the readout on a 6408D+ tel set

Have a 6408D+ telephone that needs the display readout disabled... any suggestions

You can change the station type to a 6408. just don't put the d on the end. I'm not infront a switch right now, but I know you can do on the 8400 series phones. Give it try. Hope this helps...
