Hey,

Just wondering how do you disable the close button on a form. I have set the Close Button property to No but that did not work.
Any help would be great!

Thanks

If you go into the properties for the form and under format, where it says close button, select no.

It sounds like you have already done this and it does disable the close button on the form. It is grayed out and looks bad, but that's what you have to live with.

Did I understand the question? What do you mean by "did not work"? What happens?

There are only two rules for success: (1) Never tell everything you know.

I have seen several instances where Close Button is set to no, and there is still an X. I think it works if the window is in a non-maximized size. Sad to say, I have never achieved the control of the windows that I've wanted to.

The users always find away...

SEt the "Border Style" to "None" in the properties of the form that will remove the X and at the same time the other buttons(Min et Max)
