How do I disable Windows XP shortcut keys? TIA
 
There are many shortcut keys. To disable the set that comes from the XP interface, including Windows Key + sequences, see Kelley's site:
When the site opens use Ctrl-F and enter 'keys' as the search string. There are four seperate shortcut keys patches to be found there.

If you use Office 2000, 2002 or XP, you need to use Group Policy:
