How can I disable Streaming Radio in WMP through GPO?

I've tried adding a fake http proxy ( but that doesn't work. Ideally I would like to remove all Internet accessibility through WMP but for now I'm just trying to limit streaming.

I can't do it at the firewall level as some people still need access to stream for their WMP.

I'v created a GPO and denied access to that GPO to the group of users that need access.

This applies only to WMP, is it workable for you?

Q: I wish to deploy the Windows Media Player in an intranet and block XXX feature (radio, Media Guide, etc). How do I do so?
A: The easiest thing to do is to use the Group Policy editor (gpedit.msc) to lock the user into a skin of your choice using the "Set and lock skin" policy. This eliminates access to the Media Guide and Radio Tuner from within the player.

I did see that somewhere else as well I was just hoping that in the sea of knowledge that someone figured out a way to lock down WMP in a corporate environment more effectivly.

Thank you for the assistance.
