Does anyone know how to disable the Power-Off key in Windows? On most newer keyboards, it has a power off button that I would prefer to be disabled.

Anyone?

Howdy,

You could change the option in :

Control Panel -> Power Options -> Advanced

"When I press the power button on my computer" - Change to "Do Nothing"

I'm fairly sure that should do it

Hope this helps

Good call!

BUT! I don't have the option of "Do Nothing". Anything
further?

If it is a keyboard call, you have the flexibility under XP for complete remapping.

This freeware utility will allow you to disable the keyboard call, as long as it is a call not handled completely within they keyboard process itself:
