Anybody have a way to disable the Options key on a 3904 so that settings can't be changed? Ideally a lockout ability that
you can do on the Cisco VoIP sets would be nice. However I don't see anything documented for this, so I was wondering if anyone had another workaround solution (besides disassembly of the phone!)

some fo the soft keys will go away by removing the cls marks that allow the feature. others (callers) will be displayed unless you resort to white out

I don't believe the Options button can be controlled by anything in the Class of Service. Can it?

are you asking about the soft keys? looks like your right, i took fna sfa and the fdn off of my 3904, and not only do i still have a forward key, it works?

John,
Did you NUL the key, I not sure what the number is on a 3904, maybe 17.?? Removing FNA SFA only effect forward no answer not Call Forward. I'm guessing a hard day? I think the options key mentioned is something internal to the 3904.

duh.. yep i did the nul key 19 and that did take the soft key away.
